律师可随意征收律师费吗？

在2005律师酬劳法令下 (Solicitor Remuneration Order 2005)，律师在一项交易中，只能根据该法令收取固定酬劳，不能随心所欲征收律师费(打官司除外)。
律师费并不包括任何政府收费及其它杂费，而是律师事务所应该征收的专业费用。
由于律师费种类颇多，我们在这里先讨论买卖相关收费。
马来西亚买卖房子的律师费，其实已经在2005年事务律师酬劳条例（Solicitors’ Remuneration Order）底下制定了一个标准的收费架构，需按照房子的成交价/市场价，按百分比征收：
如果遇到随意开价的律师，民众可以通过律师公会做出举报。
另外，该法令也清楚列明，为了避免利益冲突，律师只能代表其中一方。
