- 一名狗主因罗威纳犬逃出家门，短短2小时内攻击5人至轻重伤案，面对5项控状。狗主表示认罪，每项控状被罚款1700令吉，总数为8500令吉，并承诺不再养狗。
- 5项控状指出，被告被控于4月1日分别在凌晨4时45分、6时、6时40分，及早上7时在瓜拉吉底德沙比达拉花园，因疏于看顾自家犬导致5人，因此抵触刑事法典第289条文（疏忽看顾动物并导致他人受伤）。
- 一旦罪成，可被监禁最高6个月或罚款最高2000令吉，或两者兼施。
- 5名受害者包括晨跑的华裔男子、在路旁售卖扁担饭的小贩、巫裔居民等，其中2人伤势严重。事发后，警方已被指示狗主把狗交给兽医局，以进行检查及隔离。
- 由于该事件在网络上迅速发酵，狗主在各方施压下，自愿将两只罗威纳犬进行人道毁灭。

Penal Code
289. Negligence with respect to any animal
Whoever knowingly or negligently omits to take such order with any animal in his possession as is sufficient to guard against any probable danger to human life, or any probable danger of grievous hurt from such animal, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to six months, or with fine which may extend to two thousand ringgit, or with both.
