509PC: 溜进公共女厕偷窥如厕, 罚款RM2800

1. 一男子偷溜进公共女厕偷窥女子如厕，认罪后被罚款2800令吉或坐牢5个月取代。
2. 被告被控，在东甲县丹绒亚葛斯休闲公园的公共女厕内，通过门缝，偷窥当时正在如厕的36岁女子。
3. 被告行为抵触刑事法典509条文（蓄意侮辱他人贞洁）。一旦罪成，可被判监禁最高5年或罚款，或两者兼施。
4. 案情指出，被告在发现该女子进入厕所后，竟跟上偷偷潜进女厕，并趴地通过门下缝隙偷窥。
5. 该女子发现门缝有人偷窥后，吓得大声喊叫，被告仓皇冲出厕所，开车逃跑。当时，该公厕收费员目睹被告从女厕冲跑出来，开车扬长而去。
6. 警方接获投报后，根据被告驾驶的轿车车牌线索，在麻坡县逮捕到被告，并从公厕的闭路电视查获被告确实在上述时间及地点溜进女厕，而女子也确认在如厕前曾在公园看见过被告。
7. 推事法丁判处被告罚款2800令吉，或坐牢5个月取代。

509. Word or gesture intended to insult the modesty of a person

Whoever, intending to insult the modesty of any person, utters any word, makes any sound or gesture, or exhibits any object, intending that such word or sound shall be heard, or that such gesture or object shall be seen by such person, or intrudes upon the privacy of such person, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to five years, or with fine, or with both.
