- 一名七旬华裔老翁，与63岁前女友分手后，因为一所房屋的5万令吉装修费而闹纠纷，一怒之下向前女友家泼水泥，被推事庭判处罚款2000令吉。
- 74岁的被告坦承所有罪行，承认向前女友住所泼水泥。前女友家中的闭路电视将其一举一动全程摄录下，显示他用水泥泼洒房屋的前后区域。
- 根据案情，被告在发现前女友将他们此前共同拥有的房屋卖掉后，而大动肝火，因为他曾经为该所房屋支付了5万令吉的装修费。
- 被告因此抵触刑事法典第427条文 (蓄意破坏）。一旦罪成可被判最高监禁5年或罚款，或两者兼施。
- 被告认罪后，推事阿伦诺瓦达斯判处被告罚款2000令吉，若无法缴交罚款则须以坐牢3个月代替，最后被告缴付了罚款。

427. Committing mischief and thereby causing damage to the amount of twenty-five ringgit
Whoever commits mischief and thereby causes loss or damage to the amount of twenty-five ringgit or upwards, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term of not less than one year and not more than five years, or with fine, or with both.
